Undoubtedly, Akshay Kumar has one of the best physique in Bollywood. For him, working out gives a lot of pleasure and the fact of having martial art background supports him too. He stands 6’1″ tall. Akshay Kumar does not miss an opportunity, when he is in town, to go kickboxing, generally on Juhu beach. He loves martial arts and says that martial arts is one of the few things that combines both mental and physical health and he loves this form of fitness to keep up his vitality and energy levels. He says that martial arts helps a lot in stress management too.
Working out- and time no bar:
He sometimes hits the gym at 2 in the morning! if that’s the time he comes home after his shooting. What this means is not that one should workout at night but, that a person with a busy life schedule should choose out any time he or she gets to keep on his physical fitness and live healthy.
Does It All:
Akshay loves to play basketball and does it thrice a week and also walks and tries to go for a trek whenever he gets time. He is regular to gym, goes swimming with his son, does meditation, jogging, practices yoga and of course martial arts. According to Akshay Kumar, mixing up your fitness regime is very important to avoid getting bored. Yoga and martial arts too is very important for managing internal balance as well as physical fitness.
A self confessed foodie, Akshay Kumar does not follow a very strict diet routine. Akshay feels that When you are concious about your health fitness, it’s natural to be away from unhealthy foods. So while he would not go over board with food, he eats everything but in limits and loves home made Indian food: dal roti, sabzi, chicken and other homemade delights.
